YES! We love to celebrate our members’ accomplishments by featuring them in our biweekly e-bulletin!
If you have industry-related news (awards, grants, upcoming screenings, etc.) you want to share with us, please send it to communications@wift.com with any relevant copy, images, and links. Please also let us know if you are a WIFT-T program alumnus.

HOW DO I RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP?
You will receive two separate reminder emails prior to membership expiry: one sent 30 days prior to expiry and the other one 15 days before your membership expires. If you do not renew prior to expiry, you will receive an email three days after your membership expires to notify you that your account is past due. You will have one year from the date of expiry to access renewal pricing, based on your current level.
IF I RENEW EARLY, WILL I LOSE MONEY?
When you renew and pay online, your next renewal date is automatically calculated based on when you would have expired – you won’t lose any time on your membership. Please note: Effective June 1, 2015, WIFT-T no longer offers Early Bird discounted rates. Renewing members will have access to regular discounted renewal pricing for up to one calendar year after their expiry.
WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO RENEW, BUT MY MEMBERSHIP EXPIRED?
Although your membership has expired, you will have the ability to sign into your account profile and chose to renew your membership within 1 year of your expiry. During this year, you will have access to discounted renewal rates. After one full calendar year of being an expired member, your account with WIFT-T will be deleted. If you wish to join WIFT-T after one year of being expired, you must register as a new member and pay the regular (non-discounted) membership fee.
WILL MY MEMBERSHIP BE AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED IF I ENTER MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION?
Memberships are not set up for automatic billing/renewals. Upon membership expiry, members must renew themselves.
HOW ARE ONLINE PAYMENTS PROCESSED?
We use PayPal as our payment gateway for online billing, and have secured our site with SSL. Your payment information is not stored on our servers. Please read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy when you check out (or on our Legal page).
CAN I REFUND MY MEMBERSHIP?
WIFT-T’s membership fees are non-refundable. WIFT-T memberships automatically expire at the end of your term if you do not renew. If you wish to cancel your membership with WIFT-T, please contact us. Please see our Legal page for more information.
SHOULD I REGISTER FOR EVENTS WHEN I’M LOGGED INTO THE MEMBER AREA?
Yes. Once logged in to the Members section of our website, you will see ticket options only available to WIFT-T members—whether that’s a 25% discount on professional development programming, or free registration to an event. Please do NOT register for an event through public pages on our website without signing in, as you will be charged as a non-member.
CAN I PAY FOR PROGRAMS AND EVENTS USING OFFLINE BILLING?
We will set payment options for programs and events on a case-by-case basis. We know that for some of our courses, the ability to pay by company or personal cheque is important. If you do not see the option to pay offline on an event or program, contact us.
HOW DO I ENSURE I CAN GET WIFT-T'S EMAILS?
Information regarding invites, codes, offers and other membership communication might be sent to your inbox through our admin account on the Member Directory.
We ask that you please make the email address relay@mail.sourcefound.com a safe sender, so these messages go in your inbox. Please see the Profile & Privacy Settings section for how to make an email address safe.

HOW DO I UPDATE MY CONTACT INFO?
You can update your payment, membership, contact information and password by editing your online Member Profile. You will have access to your profile information and renewal options up to one year after your expiry.
WHAT INFORMATION IS PUBLIC ON THE MEMBER DIRECTORY?
By default, your Member Profile is set to appear in our Member Directory and allows others to message you through your WIFT-T account email. Your address, email, and phone number are currently hidden. You can adjust these settings under Privacy Settings. You can also add a “public directory email,” if you wish, replacing your account email for messaging.
HOW DO I EDIT THE INFORMATION PEOPLE SEE IN THE MEMBER DIRECTORY?
Your account information is not visible in the Member Directory. If you would like information such as company, position, website or social links to be visible on your profile, please enter the information under “Member Directory Profile,” “Profile Gallery,” ‘Profile Description,” and “Social Links”. For example, if you would like to make your company name and position visible on the main Member Directory Page, please enter it under “Enter a short description here”. Once added, it will appear publicly.
HOW CAN I FILTER SEARCHES IN THE MEMBER DIRECTORY?
When you click “Search by Label,” you will see a list of labels you can use to search the directory. Members can view labels under individual profile cards and can also search the directory using labels (for ex. “Seeking Mentorship”). You can also search by position or area.
HOW CAN I EDIT MY OWN LABELS?
Once logged in, click the “Profile” button between “About” and “Sign Out” buttons. If your profile is set to be visible in the directory, scroll down to find the “Directory Profile Labels” section. Here you can choose which labels will display in your member directory profile. Please note labels are not required.
HOW DO I MESSAGE SOMEONE IN THE MEMBER DIRECTORY?
To send a direct message to another member, under the “Contact” tab of their profile, click “Send a Message,” and a message box will appear. The member’s personal email address will not appear, however, the message you send will go directly to their WIFT-T account email inbox. Please note that if you choose to email a member, the recipient will be able to see your WIFT-T account email address. Any replies from this member will go directly to your personal email.
PLEASE NOTE: Messages between members are not sent through WIFT-T’s domain. Instead, it is sent through: relay@mail.sourcefound.com. If you do not see this in your email’s main inbox, please check your email’s junk folder. If found there, please label this address as a “safe sender,” and future messages from the Directory will go straight to your inbox. We especially recommend members with a work email attached to their account do this step.
HOW DO I MAKE AN EMAIL ADDRESS A “SAFE SENDER”?
For users on Microsoft Outlook, once you have located the address you want to make a safe sender (whether in your junk folder or inbox), right click the email message. Near the bottom of the drop down menu, you will see “Junk”. After clicking “Junk”, click “Never block sender”. If you are using gmail.com, you would click “not spam” at this stage. By doing this, all future messages from this email will be sent directly to your inbox.
CAN I MESSAGE MULTIPLE MEMBERS OR POST ON A PAGE WHERE ALL MEMBERS CAN VIEW?
You can direct message individual Members in the directory or post items on WIFT-T’s social media platforms (Facebook and LinkedIn Groups).
